Puppy Socialisation Sessions

What: I am able to offer socialisation and training for puppies up to 6 months of age in a home environment (without owners being present)

Sessions can include:

  • Socialisation with very well behaved adult dogs aged 2 (medium breed) and 9 years old (large breed),
  • Socialisation with children (boys aged 4 and 7 years)
  • Socialisation with up to two other puppies up to 6mths old.
  • Obedience training – one topic of your choice per hour (recall, heel, positions, wait, leave, stay, drop, leave, settle, go to bed, grooming, stopping play biting and jumping up).

Obedience training and puppy place sessions will be shown live via Zoom where you are able to ask questions and see demos. Sessions are recorded so you can watch later if necessary. Photos of your puppy’s session will also be sent via Whatsapp.

Why: Teaching your puppy obedience and tricks is a fun way to improve their overall obedience as well improving their strength and coordination which is important for body well being but also a great foundation for dog sports such as agility. A well trained and socialised dog is not only a pleasure to be around but is also safer for the public and for your dog themselves.

Further Info:

All basic training is covered, using kind, consistent, reward-based techniques (including clicker training). Sessions are kept small and are taught by a qualified behaviourist with 13 years’ experience.
