What: These dog socialisation courses are suitable for dog’s that are reactive (barking, snapping, lunging) towards other dogs. Each week you and your dog work with up to five other dogs and handlers attending the course. Great for dogs that find it too stressful in typical obedience classes.

Where: Private fields in Ditchling near Notcutts Garden Centre.

When: Wednesday’s 10.00-10.45am.

I have taken a break from reactive dogs classes due to a high demand for one to ones. If you would like to work with me one to one or would like to be placed on my waiting list for my reactive dog classes in the future please email me dog@prodogschool.co.uk.

How much: £30.00 initial theory session then £15.00 per class, paid two months in advance. Classes are ongoing there after in my follow on class which costs £10.00 a class.

Further Info:  The classes use Behaviour Adjustment Training (BAT) and Control Unleashed (CU) which are extremely popular, reward based method, for rehabilitating dogs. Holly, the class tutor, is one of only five instructors certified to use the BAT method in the UK. Books and DVDs are available to complement the classes but are not included in the class fees. Your dog will also learn more appropriate ways to behave around other dogs. Risk is minimised, as all exercises have been carefully planned and dogs are kept on lead. As some of the sessions are held in a privately owned field the risk of interruption from the public is also limited. As dogs progress there is an opportunity to introduce them to agility.
